Poor Isabella had a stomach virus this week. She was sick for 2 days then seemed to get better. Wed. she played normal and acted fine. However on Thursday she was more sick than the first part of the week. Isabella is usually livley and always wants to be on the move. It was so sad to see her sleep about 18 or more hours in the day and when she was awake she just layed on us. After not eating or drinking much for 2 days our Doctor told us to take her to urgent care so they could give her IV fluids. Just before we left and on the way there she threw up just about everything in her poor stomach. When they took her vitals and looked her over they determined that she wasn't in need of IV fluids just, oral hydration. We were glad because that ment that we had done a good job at keeping her hydrated and that they didn't have to find a vein to poke. The doctor gave her Zofran for nausea and after that she began to drink. He gave us this recipe to make a solution at home that would help her get fully hydrated faster. So all night we would go in and give her a bottle. We were able to get her to drink 1/2oz to 1oz at a time. Saturday she was still sleeping all day, but each time she woke up she would drink and even wanted to eat. Towards the end of the day she seemed almost back to normal. Today she is her normal self and is on the move again. We are so excited to have our little girl doing better. This year seems to be the year for the flu. Hopefully its the last time she gets sick for a while!

Little helper
Today was just one of the examples of why my kitchen floor never seems to stay clean. We are really trying to eat healthier, so that means more veggies and more time. I was making a meal that took about an hour total. Isabella used that time to make my floor look like whats left over on a cutting board. Everything I was making she wanted to try. So I would give her a piece to play/snack on, and it bought me more time to prepare dinner. When dinner was done I looked at my floor and saw bits of carrots, mushrooms, bananas, snap peas, and bell peppers. On the bright side she let me cook dinner. Somethings are worth the trade off. We just love our little helper!

Cute as can be!
Today was a wonderful Mother's day. Stan cleaned the whole house and made me breakfast all before I got up this morning. He also got me another piece to my Willow Tree collection . (click to view a picture of my gift!) It was so sweet of him! I truly have the most amazing husband in the world.
We took some pictures of Isabella all ready for church today because she was just so cute!
My necklace caught the glare of the sun, so it looks like I shine from within. HAHA

Little helper
Isabella loves to take things out of the cupboards. I don't mind when it is her toys, but then gave up trying to keep her out of the kitchen. She loves the glassware because it makes such loud noises when she pulls it out. By the way she still doesn't crawl but she does scoot on her bum. I am just glad she can get around on her own.

Portland
Last week over Stan's spring break we left Isabella at her grandma's and headed to check out Portland. It is so beautiful there! The city is so small compared to the Phoenix area so we could go see everything in just a few days. We are so excited to go live there! Only a few more months!!

Crazy month!
Well April has been a busy month already! April 1st Isabella and I left Stan to go help my sister in law Jo move to Idaho. We drove to Las Vegas first and stayed there for 2 days. Then we tagged along with my mother and father in law to Salt Lake City and stayed the night then drove onto Idaho.
Isabella loved being in Idaho, and especially loved playing with her cousin Emmalee and seeing her grandpa and grandma Brewer. Isabella would try to grab Emmalee anytime she walked by to give her a huge hug and kiss. Unfortunantly Isabella's hugs kind of hurt and her kisses sometimes include teeth. So we all had to watch out to make sure that Isabella wasn't giving too many hugs. Jo got a picture of Emmalee and Isabella hugging. She also has more pictures of the trip to Idaho. As much as I loved being with my in laws and traveling we missed Stan. Here is Isabella helping me pack my suit case the last day. Well I don't know how much she helped but she had fun. :) Never leave your husband for 9 days! I decided no more long trips unless he is with me. Although it was nice to be busy while he was studying for finals.
