We went to visit Beth and George in Las Vegas for Christmas. It was a blast. Dan drove with us, thank goodness because it was a long drive. Our little Honda was so packed we didn't even have room to stretch out. On Christmas eve we watched the traditional move It's a Wonderful Life, while we were trying to convince Mom and Dad to let us open at least one gift. They finally broke down and let us open a gift. Isabella got to open the first one. Beth got her the cutest rocking pony so that she could start loving horses at a young age just like Stan. Isabella loves it!!

Thanksgiving
I thought I would give a little update on our Thanksgiving week.
First of all it was so GREAT to have Stanley home for the week. He didn't study at all. He probably should have, but he knew I was needing some attention, so he just spent the whole week doing stuff with Isabella and I. We deep cleaned our house, went on a date, watched a move , went shopping (on Black Friday- Stan really loves me )and just spent time together! THANK YOU STAN!
We had Thanksgiving dinner at my Aunt's house. YUMMY! Then we rode quads and Derric's tandem bike. It was a blast. In this picture Stan decided to let me do all the work. Notice his legs aren't even on the pedals. So when we wore ourselves out doing that we went inside and played Crazy 6. Its like playing speed with lots of people. It truly is crazy! Isabella did so good the whole day, so when we got home she crashed and we just had the evening to ourselves. It was so nice to just relax and watch a movie together. On Friday we got most of shopping done. yeah! It was fun to go to the mall together. Then on Sat. Stan's parents came and stayed with us till Monday. We went and saw the Temple Lights and enjoyed the wonderful weather. It was so fun to have them here! By Sunday night I was sad because Stan had to go to school again. :( It really makes me look forward to Christmas break!

Twilight the Movie
Ok I admit I was one of those crazy people that went and saw Twilight last night at the 12:01am showing. I went with my cousins and aunt. I was lucky because they stood line so I didn't have to come until later. I have never been to a midnight showing, but let me tell you, there were some die hard fans. We were in a theatre just waiting, we still had 3 hrs left when these little teeny boppers decided it would be fun to play games with the whole theatre. First of all the games were obnoxious, and every now and then they would get in a shouting war saying " Edward" no "Jacob" back and forth. Needless to say we went and found great seats in a different theatre that had a much better crowd. So onto the movie. I was so afraid it was going to totally bomb, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was so good! They kept to the book pretty well and made sure to say some of my favorite lines from the book! If you have ready the books I think you will really like it, but if you haven't I think you will be lost. Anyways I think I am going to take a nap now because going to bed at 3am just isn't my thing.

S.O. Club
I know this was from several weeks ago however I thought I would post them any away. These are pictures of some of the S.O. Club having a picnic at Freestone park. For those of you who don't know the S.O. club is the club for the spouses or significant others of the medical students. It's nice to get together with people who really know just what you mean when you say, "I never see my husband." I always have fun with them no matter what we do. These are only a few of the wives, I will try and be more dilligent about taking pictures at our activites.

Bows!
Ok so I finally went to the Bow making class at Ribbons & Lace. It was so fun. These are the 3 bows I made while I was there. Don't judge me to harshly these are the first ones, I will get better. I bought several different headband type ribbon so I can match them with Isabella's out fits. Doing things like this makes me want to have all girls!

Alright so I feel like I have been slacking lately. I have only posted pictures but not really said much about our lives. The truth is, I don't feel like we have much going on. Nothing big and exciting has happened so we are just plugging along with daily life. Here is a quick run down of our everyday.
**Read at your own risk this could be very boring**
Stan usually wakes up and studies in the morning while he eats breakfast then he goes to school by 7:30am. He is at school all day and comes home for 1 1/2hrs at 5pm to eat dinner and spend some time with us, then goes back to school to study by 6:30pm and studies till 10pm. So basically Isabella and I get to be best buds all day and find things to fill up our days. It is so fun to watch Isabella grow and get her own personality. She keeps me busy and laughing each day. We usually go walking in the mornings and then if I am feeling up to it I will clean the house. We find all sorts of things to do the rest of the day until about 4pm, when I make dinner for Stan. (ok so dinner isn't usually ready right at 5pm but I am not perfect at least I make dinner most nights right??) After Stan leaves again Isabella gets some play time and then a bath and bedtime by about 8:30pm. When Stan comes home we read scriptures get ready for bed then crash by 10:30-11pm. Sometimes I feel like we live totally separate lives...well I guess we kind of do. haha We try really hard to make time for each other on Sunday and one other evening during the week. I usually need a break from Isabella by Sunday (don't get me wrong I love her to death but being a "single parent" most days wears on you) Kudos to all you single parents out there! Anyway so that's what we are up to most days.

2 Years!!
Well Stanley and I have been married for 2 years September 15th. It really has been the best time of our lives. We have learned so much and are having the time of our lives. Having Isabella has really helped us fee like a family. This year more than ever we have realized how blessed we are to have a great marriage and for the little moments in life that make it so wonderful. With Stan so busy with Medical school we don't get much time together, so we especially cherish those little moments. For our anniversary my sister Alaenya watched Isabella and Stan took me to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Then we walked around Borders and looked at books we wanted. I know it doesn't sound like much but just being together was so nice. Here are some pictures of us all ready for our first real date since Isabella was born.
These are the flowers Stan got me. He is so good about that he gets me flowers for every special occation, and no I NEVER get tired of it. I love having them as a center piece and a reminder that he loves me.

Smiles
They say tummy time will help strengthen their muscles... it just plain wears her out!
Isabella is happiest in the morning just like her Mommy. I love to put her in her Boppy Bouncer and make her smile all morning. Baby's smiles are so adorable and full of love! It really makes me grateful to be a Mom!
